Dichiarazione di valore is a special procedure that is mandatory for all those wishing to continue their education abroad. Declaration of educational documents obtained in Ukraine is mandatory for studying in Italy, as well as for employment in another country.

What is this document and what is it for?

Dichiarazione di valore is issued by the Italian representative office (embassy) in Ukraine and allows its holder to study or find employment in Italy on a completely legal basis.

In the process of obtaining this document, a number of special procedures are carried out, during which it is determined whether the education received in Ukraine corresponds to the education you want to receive abroad. This is a mandatory procedure, at least because the educational process and its duration in Italy differs from Ukrainian.

This procedure can only be carried out at the consulate. The received document confirming your education is legally valid in Italy.

Who needs to have their diploma confirmed?

Confirmation of an educational document is required if:

• you are a citizen of Ukraine who has received a Ukrainian education and wants to continue studying in Italy or work in your specialty in this country;
• if you are officially married to an Italian citizen and are planning to move to this country for the purpose of employment.

Most often it happens that this process can take a long time, and it can only be carried out at the Italian consulate at the actual location in the city of Kyiv. In this regard, it is not convenient for people from other cities to be in Kyiv at the time of receiving this document.
